We are 52 and 25 years young and enjoy life! José is married to an Italian man named Mario. Mario is the reason for all the Italian recipes on our website. Mariella and brother Giacomo grew up as real Italian children with pasta on the menu almost every day. Of course the Mariëlla and Giacomo had no objection to that. Mariëlla was already interested in cooking and baking as a child and that is why she regularly helped José in the kitchen. We were also regularly baking cookies or cakes together. When she left home in 2014, she called José almost every day while shopping; MAM! how do you make that delicious pasta sauce? MAM! What are you doing in those meatballs? MAM! What is the recipe for Nonna's chicken? You heard that right .. all family recipes that Mariëlla had to learn. When this was mastered she started cooking it for friends. After several years, our friends / family and classmates asked more and more for our recipes. That was the last straw; we started this website and jumped into the life of "food blogger" A really fun hobby that got out of hand
