Marielle is an illustrator from Charleston, SC. She began drawing at a young age and completed many portraits of boyband members before eventually finding her passion for narrative illustrations. During her studies at Savannah College of Art and Design, she was told that her illustrations were absurd (but in a good way)! Since then, she has asked herself with every illustration, "how can I make this absurd?" Her favorite aspect about illustration is that she can use it to create visuals that otherwise might not exist. The weirder the idea, the better. When Marielle is not illustrating, you might find her at the beach searching for shark teeth to add to her collection (150+!) or rereading Harry Potter for the hundredth time.
