MD Concerts is a national independent Latin concert promoting company in the US. With offices in Miami besides our headquarters in Atlanta. MD Concerts focuses on serving the needs of artists and their fans to create memorable experiences for all.
MD Concerts and it’s front man Mario Diaz’ journey began in 1993 as a Promoters Assistant in a three back-to-back sold-out Cindy Lauper’s shows in South America. After that MD was bitten by the music worm and decided to move to Atlanta, where he worked as a Lighting Technician for R.A Roth Lighting Co. in tours like “Back to School Tour” in 1996 with artists like Keith Sweat, SWV, Monica and Bone Thugs n’ Harmony; at the grand opening of the former House of Blues -now the iconic Atlanta venue “The Tabernacle” with the band George Clinton and the P-Funks.
It has been a long road and along the way the company has been responsible for, or involved in, some of the most important events in several different cities throughout the US. To name a few: we produced Carlos Vives, Franco De Vita and Ricardo Arjona’s first ever shows in Atlanta, GA. We have record breaking assistance for a latin artist in Orlando, FL where we brought one the most influential and important Latin Music icons Juan Gabriel in July 2005 with over 11,000 in attendance at the TD Waterhouse Center (House of the NBA Orlando Magic). To this we have many more accomplishments of which we are proud of as well as many more to come. It is without a doubt that our passion is music and entertainment. We take pride in bringing artists and their fans together since 2001.
