Ulysses “Monster” Diaz, better known as Uly, born March 14, 1981, is a Cuban American boxer from Miami, Florida. At an early age, Uly would spend most of his time in the gym. In 2016, Uly started his professional career. Sparring in and out of the ring he would box at local events quickly rising and gaining recognition not only in Miami but also Internationally. Uly has had multiple international fights that include Italy, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia. He is currently 12-1 with 11 knockouts in boxing & 1-0 in mma. uly, has participated in grabbling matches and is currently preparing for a bare knuckle fight. Outside of the ring, Uly spends his free time mentoring and motivating young kids along with helping to create programs that can prevent angry teens from ending up on the wrong path in life. Teaching them that life holds no limits, and there is no such thing as “too late for change”. When Uly is not helping his community he can be seen on the big screen, having roles in major motion pictures such as “Den of Thieves” or in videos with Pitbull, Elvis Crespo, and Da Baby. Locals of Miami know Uly as the Monster in the ring. He is building a Team Monster legacy with the focus to build other athletes through competition and inspiration.
