Jyoti Chand, your cool mom friend, aka Mamajotes on Instagram, is a writer, comedian, and advocate for self-care, self-love, and maternal mental health. With a background in stand up comedy and improv, Jyoti guarantees laughs through her viral reels, posts and stories. She is the executive editor for Chai Girls, a division of Chai Mommas, LLC., which is a daily dose of inspiration for South Asian women coming together through sisterhood. Jyoti is also a contributing writer for Brown Girl Magazine’s parenting vertical. She has a Masters of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University and is working on her first book. She is represented by Chad Beckerman at the CAT agency and is currently revising her first book with Clarissa Wong at Harper Collins.
