Youth Theater Hofplein was founded in 1985, after which it grew into a household name in Rotterdam and the surrounding area. Friendships for life are formed, and today the children of previous generations of Hofpleiners are already participating in our extensive range of routes and workshops. Imagine, enrich, amaze We always consider our young players as full artistic partners in every creative process. Every child can be themselves, have fun and push boundaries together with our professional theater makers. We do this with activities in leisure time, education or in the city. In free time, having fun with theater is central. In a warm and safe environment, children build their self-confidence and play in front of an audience. Within school, we focus on artistic dialogue. In this way, tailor-made programs are made that match the DNA of the school. In the city, we are looking for collaborations to allow even more children and young people to participate in our theater offer in various forms.
