Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) is Bengaluru's newest museum, situated in the heart of the city on Kasturba Road, with an extensive collection of paintings, photographs, textiles, crafts and more, dated from the 10th century to contemporary times. The museum is located within an easy walking-distance of Cubbon Park, MG Road and Vidhan Soudha metro stations. Divided into five-storeys, the museum includes art galleries, an auditorium, an art and research library, an education centre, a specialised research and conservation facility, a cafe, member’s lounge and fine-dining restaurant. MAP is mindful of building a museum for all, by making use of innovative technology and appropriate accessibility tools for people with special needs.
