A speedy midfield player with pace to burn and enjoyed a couple of international call ups in which he did not feature in any of the games.

Cairo received a call-up for the Netherlands national football team for a friendly against Italy in 2005, after Ruud van Nistelrooy pulled out because of injury. However, Cairo never played a minute for Oranje.
