Ziggy’s Smoke Shop opened up in 2011 when owner Carlos Ali decided to follow his passion, smoking and helping people. When Carlos would walk into a smoke shop, he would feel uncomfortable. He felt as if the customer service and knowledge about the products were not there. Carlos decided to open up Ziggy’s Smoke Shop in 2011 to grow the smoking industry and deliver excellent customer service. “When you walk into Ziggy’s, we want a Cheers atmosphere where everybody knows your name,” says Carlos Ali. Carlos’ passion grew into an award-winning smoke shop with multiple awards from OC Weekly, Yelp, and Glass Vegas. On the 5 Year Anniversary of opening Ziggy’s Smoke Shop, Carlos wanted to celebrate with an event at his studio which included live glass blowing. The event was first called “The Ziggy’s Classic”. There were 6 artists in the first year of The Ziggy’s Classic. Each year, the event grew bigger and bigger. In year 3, Carlos decided to change the name to a more appropriate name, “The Molten Art Classic”. Last years Molten Art Classic featured a 27 artist collaboration with over 3,000 work hours.
