Alexander Schifter is a fractional CFO consultant at Centripetal Advisors, where he collaborates with enterprise SaaS startups to help them scale. With a combination of entrepreneurial experience and financial expertise, he provides valuable guidance to SaaS founders in managing business growth. Alexander also invests in his clients when opportunities arise, drawing on his knowledge of startup business planning, strategic finance, and revenue operations. In 2022, Alexander acquired XO Espresso Bar, a specialty coffee shop in Miami offering premium coffee and wellness drinks. As the owner and CEO, he oversees all business operations, including development, financial planning, procurement, human resources, and payroll for two café locations. After expanding into wholesale operations, Alexander wants to open additional standalone locations and engage with franchise partners. He plans to open a new XO Espresso Bar later this year in a highly desirable area of Miami Beach. Additionally, he secured a three-year consulting and coffee supply agreement with Yann Couvreur, an internationally recognized French patisserie, which has helped the café expand its presence in multiple locations. In 2021, Alex Schifter co-founded Hello Arthur, a marketplace designed to help healthcare providers purchase medical and dental supplies directly from manufacturers. This model offered significant cost savings for customers. Although the business reached six-figure revenue, Alexander ultimately chose to wind it down to concentrate fully on XO Espresso Bar. Alexander began his career in 2015 as an Investment Bank Analyst at AGC Partners, a boutique investment bank based in Boston. Technology Investment Banker spanning several midsized and large regional boutiques from 2015 to 2020. In this role, he worked on both buy-side and sell-side engagements, creating financial models and preparing client materials essential for successful M&A processes. In 2017, he moved to DCA in New York as an Associate, where he worked on various deals, including sell-side advisory and equity capital raises, and performed due diligence for potential venture capital investments. During his time at DCA, Alexander joined Pharus Advisors, contributing to M&A transactions and equity capital raises. As Vice President at Trousdale Capital Management, he focused on sourcing and executing growth equity investments in enterprise software companies, playing a key role in several successful investments. Alexander Schifter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies from Tufts University. He also competed as an NCAA varsity athlete in cross-country and track & field. Outside of his professional career, Alexander is committed to philanthropy, raising funds for cancer research, supporting Habitat for Humanity, and contributing to several charitable causes in Miami.
