Growing up in Bryn Mawr, Unruh began his educational path at Gladwyne Elementary School and moved on to Welsh Valley Middle School. He continued his education at Harriton High School, with a period at Westminster School in Simsbury, Connecticut, before returning to Harriton in March 2022 to complete his high school education.
