‘Gandhimathi Appliances Limited’, the flagship company of the Butterfly group, was originally incorporated as Private Limited Company on 24th February 1986 and was converted into a Public Limited Company on 25th April 1990. Subsequent to merger of its associate, Gangadharam Appliances Limited, the name of the Company was rechristened to ‘Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Limited’ (BGMAL), with effect from 25th October 2011. BGMAL is listed with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE)
