Christina Propst, MD, has practiced General Pediatrics in Houston, Texas, for 25 years. She graduated Cum Laude from Horace Mann School, where she competed in track and cross country, was elected president of the orchestra, led the choir, and served as senior co-captain of her team. She attended Princeton University, graduating Cum Laude in Politics in 1991, after which she was selected for the Princeton-in-Asia program, teaching English in Machida, Japan, for two years while also learning Japanese and exploring Asia. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and awarded several student honors. She matched into her first-choice residency in pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Her awards include the Herbert B. Rothschild, M.D. Award from The Greater New Orleans Pediatric Society and the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation from the American Medical Women’s Association. Dr. Propst has volunteered during disaster relief efforts following Hurricanes Katrina and Harvey, and has supported organizations such as Moms Demand Action and Physicians for a Safer Future for over a decade. She helped educate the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, raising awareness on prevention, therapeutics, and vaccines.
