Leveraging his father's boating and watersport skills and the business acumen honed in university, Corbin Cornwell launched Big Tex Boat Rentals in partnership with his father and two younger brothers. This venture, born out of challenging circumstances, became a prosperous enterprise entering its fourth summer season. His academic path began at St. Anne's and Monsignor Kelly Catholic High Schools, private Catholic institutions in Beaumont. His younger years were characterized by diverse activities, sports, and community involvement, cultivating a well-rounded character. He later studied finance and management at Texas State University, earning dual degrees and enhancing his university tenure through active participation in student government and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Besides academics and entrepreneurial pursuits, his life is deeply ingrained with community engagement and philanthropy. His notable contributions span volunteering and fundraising for various charities, such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Bobcat Build, to significant Mobile Loaves & Fishes efforts.
