Greg DeShields is a respected nonprofit leader, industry educator, and recognized advocate for inclusive economic development. With more than 20 years of experience, Greg has dedicated his career to designing and leading programs that empower diverse workforces, spark innovative partnerships, and reshape the business landscape, particularly across tourism, hospitality, and local enterprise. Greg’s work is rooted in community-building and strategic vision. He has served in senior leadership roles at major institutions, including Temple University, Community College of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia OIC, where he championed workforce initiatives that open doors for small businesses and prepare emerging leaders. His guidance has helped organizations forge meaningful alliances, drive policy change, and uplift underrepresented professionals. As the creator and host of the celebrated podcast “Something to Say,” Greg provides a dynamic space for exploring the power of passion, purpose, and storytelling.
