My name is Ioana Tocoaie and i'm an artist from Romania. Regarding the artistic approach, during the 9 years of studying painting I was closely related to the pictorial gesture, spontaneity, color, impulsive drawing with strong touches. My work has grown through the complexity and spontaneity of personal touch, as well as the desire to snatch order from chaos. Surfaces on which I use flat stain, drip, collages of elements and different graphic surfaces, lyrical portions of paint, visual and tactile, all in the same work.
