Kishor Wasan is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. He is also the recipient of a number of awards for his contributions to the field of health sciences, including the Canadian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences Leadership award for outstanding contributions to Pharmaceutical Sciences in Canada. Kishor Wasan has received a number of awards for his contributions to the field of health sciences. Kishor Wasan is an expert in the fields of lipid-based drug delivery and lipoprotein-drug interactions. He has written over 240 publications that have been reviewed by other researchers and 280 abstracts. The most recent position held by Dr. Wasan is that of Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan, which he has held since August 2014 and will continue to hold until June 2019. Dr. Wasan was the leader of the research team at the Wasan lab at the University of British Columbia that developed what is now known as iCo 019. He will initially concentrate his efforts on the further development of iCo 019 through partnerships and collaborations with other organisations.
