Lucas Ackerson is an experienced organizational leader and consultant with 13 years of experience helping individuals grow into leadership roles. His background as a college track athlete helped shape his foundation in discipline, resilience, and perseverance. He believes adversity builds character and purpose and encourages others to trust the process, even during uncertain times. With a focus on growth through challenge, his strengths include organizational leadership, time management, and client relations. He worked as Assistant Principal-Athletic Director in a Scottsdale school, where he led efforts around strategic project execution, planning, and resource allocation. His role involved coordinating performance evaluations, supporting decision-making, and strengthening communication across leadership levels. He provided coaching to teacher leaders and guided teams in preparation for key tasks. In addition, he enhanced athletic program operations by standardizing procedures and securing a Nike Elite Contract and Sports deal. In Cave Creek, he worked in K-12 Educational Services, supporting teachers, students, administrators, and the broader community. He contributed as a trainer, behavioral and instructional coach, curriculum lead, and PLC coordinator, inspiring excellence across all roles. Before that, he served as a fourth and fifth-grade teacher and instructional leader in Scottsdale. He helped align online and in-person learning with state standards and used the CICO system to identify and support behavioral needs in kindergarten students. He also created a positive learning space that encouraged independence and critical thinking. Over six years in Wisconsin, he taught second through fourth grade and took on roles including PBIS Tier 1 coach, data-driven instruction leader, and science curriculum director. He created a PBIS expectations video, led STEM lesson development, implemented UDL strategies, and received a $500 grant for classroom science materials. He also played a role in district-level data training and planning. Outside of education, he held a leadership position as a restaurant supervisor, overseeing operations, team management, performance metrics, and strategic planning efforts.
