Patrick Gailus grew up in Portland, Maine, and later settled in Merrimack, New Hampshire. His passion for the great outdoors was first kindled at Center Day Camp in Windham, Maine, where he spent a decade mastering mountain biking, swimming, and camping. His involvement in Troop 424 as both a Cub Scout and Boy Scout in Merrimack played a pivotal role in cementing his love for outdoor adventures, especially camping. Patrick's middle and high school education was anything but conventional. He incorporated circus arts, farming, and distance swimming into his curriculum. He also participated in a comprehensive outdoor educational program in Utah for a year, where he fine-tuned his mountain biking, skiing, and climbing skills. He graduated from Fusion Academy in Burlington, Massachusetts, in 2022. Beginning his professional life, Patrick returned to Center Day Camp in Maine as an assistant counselor, passing on his passion for outdoor activities to younger generations. He then moved into customer service roles at Lowe's in Amherst, New Hampshire, and Buckley's Great Steaks in Merrimack. These positions honed his customer interaction skills, and he quickly became recognized for his helpful, enthusiastic approach to customer service.
