His educational journey began at Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, followed by the University of California, Berkeley, where he gained foundational skills that would later serve him in the business world. Determined to deepen his knowledge, he earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his life, he has maintained an active and adventurous spirit, immersing himself in a variety of activities, from cycling, running, and swimming to CrossFit. His interests span beyond fitness; he enjoys traveling, skiing, exploring military history, playing fantasy football, and indulging in the nostalgia of 80s music and movies, as well as EDM. A dedicated athlete, he has played both high school and collegiate rugby. He has competed in renowned events such as the Vineman Ironman and the Hawaiian Half Ironman and marathons in San Francisco, Avenue of the Giants, and New York City. His professional path included roles at several prestigious firms, including Robertson Stephens, Morgan Stanley, Piper Jaffray, Lehman Brothers, Perella Weinberg, and Moelis & Company. On the personal side, he is a proud father to two children, who bring joy and fulfillment to his life outside of his demanding career. The principles behind his firm stem from his early experiences at Robertson Stephens, where Inouye worked with some of Silicon Valley’s pioneering entrepreneurs. While he held senior positions at large financial institutions throughout his career, his true passion was always in advising ambitious founders and innovative tech leaders. This connection to entrepreneurial spirit and innovation inspired him to build a career dedicated to helping tech founders realize their visions. Beyond his professional commitments, he remains active in athletic pursuits, particularly in marathon running and Ironman competitions, embracing a mindset that values pushing boundaries and striving for peak performance. In addition to his financial expertise, he has contributed his athletic insights to publications like Sportztalk, where he shared training advice for first-time marathon runners. His dual role as a founder and CEO allows him to blend his extensive financial acumen with an active, disciplined lifestyle. Paul Inouye’s commitment to his career, athletic endeavors, and personal growth serves as a source of motivation for those around him, as he continually advocates for pushing oneself to achieve both personal and professional excellence.
