The program offers resources, mentorship, and a strong support network to help these women succeed in their careers. She is also involved in the Sankofa Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships to students pursuing higher education. Vassar’s passion for education was fostered early in her life by her mother, who instilled a love of learning that continues to influence her work today. Through her efforts, she strives to create an educational system where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
