We are Balneario Camboriu (SC - Brazil) Culture Department. The Balneário Camboriú Cultural Foundation (FCBC), created by Municipal Law 2,397, of November 12, 2004, is an entity with legal personality under public law and administrative, financial and disciplinary autonomy. Among its objectives are to encourage the practice and development of artistic activity in the municipality and to manage actions to preserve the historical, documentary, cultural and artistic heritage of the city. The following cultural facilities are part of the Cultural Foundation: Bruno Nitz Theater, Municipal Art Gallery, Historical Archive, Machado de Assis Municipal Public Library, Glass Gallery, Atelier Casa Linhares, Vila do Artesanato, Municipal Council for Cultural Policy, Cultural sectorial chambers. Through the Municipal Law of Incentive and Promotion of Culture (LIC), FCBC has sponsored artistic-cultural projects since 2013. LIC aims to democratize the application of public resources in the area, in addition to promoting production, circulation, training, preservation and diffusion of art in Balneário Camboriú.
