Nominated Best Urban DJ 2018 & Best UpfrontDJ in ‘17 at the Official Danish DJ Awards, John Vincent (aka JVC) is a Copenhagen based formerly B-Boy turned turntablist & producer from the Dose Sampu Collective. Hiphop is his main sound, but has a blend of genres when DJ'ing/producing. On a regular basis you can catch him mixing at a number of clubs in the CPH nightlife. JV was part of the Official Resident DJ line-up at Roskilde Festival’16, at the Countdown/Apollo Stage and besides his resident gigs, he’s a known face for opening acts or host the afterparty for several international artists. Incl. names such as Ms Lauryn Hill, Craig David, Giggs, KRS-ONE, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Talib Kweli, IAMDDB, Rejjie Snow, Freddie Gibbs, Stormzy, MoStack, Big Narstie, Sneakbo, PrettyboyDO, Smoke DZA, WiscoYD + more.JV has been touring with the Danish Reggae/Dancehall Collective, Bikstok Røgsystem & Donkey Sound. In 2016+17, he was touring with Gilli & Benny Jamz, playing over 80+ shows around DK. ATM, he is performing with Danish artists ICEKiiD + Klumben&RaskePenge. JV’s also a part of the Scandinavian DJ-Collective, “AproposLive”. International speaking, JV had the privilege of performing In places like Floripa, Brazil, “Notting Hill Carneval” in London, “RinseFM France” & “LePompon” in Paris, the legendary “Jamboree” in Barcelona.
