GXNG is a brand created to reclaim the word gang from being associated with negative connotations to violence within the black community. Anthony Joshua said in a BBC interview with Prince Harry ‘Gang is about choosing who your family are and your community’ which is what it should be. As a brand, we embody this message through our bespoke pieces which only a select few can have and this is promoted by grime artists specifically as they also face the same criticism from the wider press taking positive content from their music and turning it negative.
