We’re a bunch of people who obsess about coffee, customer service and always strive to do the right thing for the communities we’re based in and the environment. HatHats Coffee was founded by serial entrepreneur Louis Hurst and his wife Lisa in 2015 when Lisa returned to work after taking a few years out to raise the couples 3 children (Amelia, Felix and Hattie). The couple wanted to be able to create a ‘Good Cup of Coffee’ not just in its taste and flavour but also wanted to make a positive impact on the coffee companies supply chain and the communities it serves. It was simple, the couple wanted to create a People First, Profit second business that delivered good initiatives at scale and always did ‘the right thing’.
