The Danish singer/songwriter Micky Skeel has in his 11 active years already been a part of many succesful projects such as the platinum selling pop group “PULS”, in which he acted as a main figure, singing, writing & producing. In 2011 they got their national breakthrough with the song “DOPE”. After touring the biggest festivals and nightclubs for 3 years the group decided to part ways. Micky went for almost 2 years writing songs for other artists adding even more gold records to his name, including “Should’ve Gone Home” by Måns Zelmerlöw, which became a #1 in France. His versatility shows as he has also written for the legend Sir Cliff Richards. In 2016 Micky launched his first solo-project with UMG Denmark releasing 5 tracks in Danish. “Kys Ham Nu” became the biggest succes and reached gold status. After living in Los Angeles working as a full time songwriter, Micky decided to move back to his friends and family in Denmark. This decision came in the aftermath of Micky breaking out as an independant artist once again, this time in English. Throughout his songs a personal story follows - these are songs only Micky can sing to the fullest. The emotional songs is always dedicated to either a family member, friend or a special event in Micky’s life. With the upcoming single “I Can’t Wait” it is once again the gift of storytelling that is in focus - with Micky describing the very moment his wife told him the happy news of her pregnancy.
