The Gurabito Country Club, Inc., now Santiago Country Club, Inc., was founded on October 14, 1931, with the purpose of promoting the practice of sports, providing recreation and leisure to its members and their families, promoting sociability and respect for the norms of social behavior among its members, so that it is an effective aid in the training of youth and promoting culture in all its aspects.
