soduk is a womenswear brand founded by Japanese designer Tsukasa Kudo in 2018. Created after receiving a much anticipation for the womenswear version of his popular underground menswear brand Kudos. More than just a sister brand to Kudos, soduk is made to mirror the former. Kudo opted for the name in favor of its simplicity and wittiness, "If you read kudos backward, it's soduk! I added some humor." It is not surprising to find a hint of masculinity in soduk’s collections considering its history. The brand does not have any specific target, 'who wears soduk, makes soduk,” says Kudo. "To be personal" is the one thing that would always ink each collection in soduk.
